The universal push-button dimmer ETD U1 can be used to dim incandescent lamps and halogen lamps withTronic or conventional transformers. Due to its integrated basic load and the brightness memory, the ETD U1 is also ideal for use with automatic mains-field disconnectors.
In "Auto" mode, the connected load is automatically detected when the mains voltage returns and the appropriate dimming mode is selected.
For operation together with an automatic mains-field disconnector, we recommend setting the dimming mode manually in order to avoid the flickering of the lamps which can occur during detection of the load when the mains voltage returns.
