The safety stairway-light timer ZSW 3 offers a high level of comfort, safety and flexibility. The warning-light function prevents the sudden and unexpected extinction of the lights. During the warning-light phase, any one on the stairway can easily reach the next push button in order to restart the timer. The lights can be switched off at any time, followed by a warning-light phase. This permits flexible and power-saving operation of the lights without having to dispense with the safety of the warning-light phase.
If the lights can be dimmed, the pending extinction is indicated by slow dimming of the lights. If dimming is not possible, the lights are switched off intermittently several times before they are finally switched off.
