The radio-controlled switch FE3 SV can be used to switch and control electrical devices (lamps, dimmers, etc.) with the aid of a portable or wall-mounted radio transmitters. It has a potential-free changeover contact for direct switching of external voltages. The address codes for the relay can be programmed in learning mode.

In comparison with the FE3 S the FE3 SV has an additional input for a wire-connected push button. However, the potential-free relay contact may not be used for direct switching of external voltages or of other phases of the mains voltage.
