Easy-to-install DALI-2 certified control unit with integrated power supply for converting push-button commands into DALI protocols (broadcast mode). Short press = switch ON/OFF, longer press = dim UP/DOWN. Suitable for lamps with dimmable DALI ballast.

General information
Suitable DALI lamps can be easily dimmed with the push-button dimmer control unit.
The settings for soft on/off, minimum brightness and start brightness make programming superfluous.
The integrated power supply unit can supply the DALI bus, so only a 230V AC supply voltage is required. A push button can be connected to the supply voltage (at terminal “B1”).

Optionally, the behavior after a mains interruption can be set (“OFF” or “ON with start brightness”). It is also possible to send a reset signal to the DALI bus after power is restored. The TDS 1 can be conveniently installed in a control cabinet on a 35 mm top-hat rail and is compatible with any switch program.

How it works
Briefly pressing button B1 (230V AC) switches the lighting on or off, while pressing and holding the button dims the lighting up or down. The dimming direction changes automatically with each long press of the button.

Any number of TDS 1 devices can be switched on or off simultaneously via the group inputs ZE (central ON) and ZA (central OFF), regardless of their current status. Both inputs, ZE and ZA, respond to positive edges and can therefore be overridden during the entire switching period.
